Due to the governments guidelines ‘for people meeting with others outside of their household’  it really will not be possible for the club to have a social gathering this autumn. We can of course still meet up in small groups of six out in the open air. I know many of you do this anyway and will continue to do so throughout the winter as much as the weather allows.

Normally, we are a group of dancers in the Yeovil, South Somerset and Dorset area, who meet weekly and enjoy Scottish Country Dancing. Dancing is an excellent exercise, and moreover, it cheers you up- the dances are varied, and learning them exercises the brain as well as the body-

“Happiness is Scottish Country Dancing” is so true!

Weekly Meetings:

Meetings are our opportunity to learn new dances, dance our favourites and have an enjoyable time – chatting, laughing and making friends.  Our dancers are mostly from the Yeovil and South Somerset area, and we always welcome newcomers,  visitors on holiday or en route to somewhere else… and your first visit is free!

We meet at the Davis Hall, West Camel, Near Yeovil Somerset,  BA 22 7QX,  which is a lovely hall with  a sprung floor, and plenty of car parking space.

When? Every Thursday between September to June, and with the exception of two weeks for Christmas,  we dance from 7.45-10pm

See Programme for details of this years’ dates

See our weekly dances page for details of the next meeting:

We also have a programme of social dances with a live band, or dancing to CDs,  in the Spring, Summer and at Christmas time. See our Future Dances page for details:

Membership: £3.50 per annum. Weekly fee:    £1.50 members, £2 for visitors …and this includes a drink & biscuits and your first visit is free!
