Our Summer Charity Dance on August 17th 2019 was well attended, it was a beautiful evening and we all had a very enjoyable time, dancing to CDs.

In May, we danced at St Margaret’s Hospice Fete, our favourite charity. We are not a demonstration team but had obvious fun on this sunny day… Click on any of the photos to see a larger one.

Summer Charity Dance August 18th 2018
The weather was perfect for the evening, after the hot dry summer, it was cool and breezy so we could dance the evening away… It was a friendly informal dance, to the music of CDs and with the intention of having fun and raising money for St Margaret’s Hospice, which desperately needs funds for the work it does in our community. After expenses and with the Raffle we raised over £400, so thank you to all who attended. Photos by Jean Hill
End of Term Party Dance June 28th 2018
We celebrated the last dance of the 2017/8 season with a party dance along with friends from local clubs on a beautiful summers evening- what could be better? Photos by Tom Stokes
If anyone needs proof about how good dancing is for you, one of our dancers, Ron Morris, celebrated his 90th birthday recently, with a dance & we all enjoyed the evening. We had Skara Brae to play for us (joined sometimes by Ron’s daughter, Jill) Ron’s wife, Kathie and their daughters Jane and Jill, a splendid supper and a delicious Birthday cake
Spring Dance April 2018
Our annual Spring Dance was very enjoyable, and we managed to raise £200 for St. Margaret’s Hospice.

Burns Night January 25th 2018
As Burns Night fell on a Thursday this year, we made the most of it, with a Burns theme to the dances, the refreshments, the kilts and a piper! All photos by Irene Stokes
Mike Sugg played the pipes in the interval to entertain us, & we all had a good time, I think Robbie Burns would have enjoyed it as well!
